About the photographer:
Oliver Puzon was born in Manila, Philippines on September 14, 1979, and was raised in Texas. He studied at Lamar University, Beaumont, TX with an emphasis on graphic design in fine arts, and he is currently a Houston based digital photographer.
His thesis was a documentary based on narratives constructed by replicas of himself that referred to his life and experiences as a 25 year old man. The thesis was related to cinematic as well as historic art, and granted Oliver artistic license to alter past themes into his own image which played on the idea that art reflected life and vice versa. Although, Oliver loves subjects that deal with fantasy, the supernatural, and/or paranormal composites, his current collections are based on a variety of perspectives, current events, locations, and portrait sessions. As a digital photographer, his media of choice is digital photography and Adobe Photoshop for editing, enhancing and retouching. With his passion to evolve and go beyond the limits of digital manipulations, Oliver continues to push the envelope by creating a beautiful array of visual works with endless possibilities.
